The Modi government is fast approaching its 3-year mark at the centre. The Party has made several landmark moves in the past 2 years. PM Modi has often termed his role as that of a ‘Pradhan Sevak.’ The arrogance that Indians witnessed with past governments cannot be seen anymore.

In another landmark move, PM Modi has decided to ban the Red beacon or the Lal Batti culture for all VVIPs. Modi has always believed that power should not be used. He has reposed the people’s faith & is seeing to it that netas from his party don’t endorse the arrogant VVIP culture of the past.

The ban will be implemented from May 1, 2017. The Prime Minister & Lok Sabha speaker will not be exempted from the ban. President, Vice-President & Chief Justice of India will also be subject to the ban. All other leaders will be subject to the ban. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that “There would be no exceptions.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Every Indian is special. Every Indian is a VIP.”
