As after much speculation, Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. While the decision might provide enough fodder to opposition parties and some media to attack the saffron party on lines of ‘divisive politics’, BJP stood behind its leader.

Yogi Adityanath is the 21st chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and is five time MP from Gorakhpur.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Yogi Adityanath in Twitter justafter he was sworn-in as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. Modi also congratulated both the Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma along with other ministers who took oath yesterday.

The prime minister expressed confidence that the new government will work for “record development” for Uttar Pradesh.

PM Modi tweeted, “Congratulations to Yogi AdityanathJi, Keshav Prasad MauryaJi, Dinesh Sharma Ji and all those who took oath today. Best wishes for serving UP”.

In a series of tweets, PM Modi expressed his confidence that the new chief minister and his team will leave no stone unturned to develop Uttar Pradesh as “Uttam Pradesh”. It shows PM confidence on his and party decision and he expects, new dimensions of development will be established in UP under Adityanath.

‘Sabkasaath, sabkavikas’ is the key slogan of Modi in recent election campaign.

Underlining the agenda of development in Uttar Pradesh, PM said, “Our sole mission & motive is development. When UP develops, India develops. We want to serve UP’s youth & create opportunities for them.”

After massive support and historic victory mark the golden era for the BJP and BJP has formed governments in 4 states out of 5. Narendra Modi thanked voters, party workers and candidates for their stellar performance.

With the dream of “New India” Modi asked everyone to support and contribute for the change.  Jan-shakti is the only power to create transforming India he said in his tweet.

One of the foremost tenets in Shri Narendra Modi’s vision for India is the development and growth of Brand India. His decision values most since whatever decision he takes his first and final intention towards “New and Transformed India”.
