100 crore Hindus will love CM Yogi after listening to what he replied to a reporter who asked, “You celebrated Deepawali in Ayodhya and Holi in Braj-Vrindavan! Where you’re going to celebrate Eid?

Today, the people who voted for Yogi Adityanath will once again feel proud of him. Till date, the leaders whom we voted had begged votes during elections saying they aim at providing a secular government but what happened, in reality, was totally opposite. They grandly celebrated Muslim festivals and Tipu birth anniversary but never ever celebrated Hindu festivals wearing a Tilak on their forehead.

It so happened that after visiting the Krishna Janmabhoomi and spending about 30 minutes in the sanctum sanctorum, Yogi Adityanath said “In the past we organised a Diwali at Ayodhya and now there is Holi in Braj area. There would be many more events in the state to popularise such festivals and to boost the tourism sector further”.

At this moment, the reporter asked, whether festival “Eid” will be celebrated royally like how Hindus festivals are being celebrated? The reply given by Yogi has won crores of Hindu hearts. Do you know what Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said?

I am a Hindu!!!

Yes, Yogi Adityanath said that he is a Hindu and continued “I am a Hindu, every religious person has the right to celebrate his beliefs and traditions”.

Yogi was in Mathura to participate in the ‘Latthmaar Holi’ of Barsana, which, he averred, was his contribution to make the festival reach global audiences. Have you ever heard of any Hindu chief minister proudly saying about his religion?

“In the last 11 months of our being in power, we have never stopped anyone from celebrating Christmas. In future, similar event will be organised as ‘Ram Mela’ in Chitrakoot. Elaborate arrangements have been made by the state government for the event”, added CM Yogi.

Over 6,000 litres of colour would be used in the festivities ‘Rasotsava-2018’ which will be accompanied by shower of flower petals and followed with a dance performance by actress and Mathura MP Hema Malini and a rendition of songs by Bollywood singer Kailash Kher, reported TimesNowNews.

The celebration will have a national touch as the Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar will also attend the Holi festivities.

“I am Hindu” comment by CM Yogi was widely appreciated!

  • Journalist to Yogi: You celebrated Diwali in Ayodhya & now Holi in Braj-Vrindavan. Where you’re going to celebrate Eid?
  • Yogi: I’m a Hindu.
  • Will Media ask such questions to Owaisi, John Dayal, Yasin Malik: Where they’ll celebrate Holi, Diwali, Janmashtami, Navaratri, Shivaratri

Here are few other statements made by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth that proves that one can be secular even after staunchly practising Hinduism!

  • If I cannot put curbs on offering namaz on roads during Eid, then I have no rights to stop Janmashtami celebrations in police stations.
  • I asked if this was a Kanwar yatra or a funeral procession. If they don’t play music and drums, don’t dance and sing, don’t use the mike, how will it be a Kanwar yatra.
  • I will speak for everyone. You have all rights to celebrate Christmas or Eid, no one will stop you in this country, provided you do it within the limits of law and order.
