A million dollar question!!! Where is the failed politician Rahul Gandhi after the Karnataka verdict?

In 2004, by contesting from the  Amethi Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh (UP)  a descendant of a notable family entered the world of politics. In 2007, he was made the general secretory of the party and In 2013 he was made the vice president of the party. The trend continued further also…

Without any other opponents and contest the dynasty politics continued further and the scion was crowned as party president in 2017. The air was filled with chants of slogans  “Agla pradhan mantri kaisa ho, Rahul Gandhi jaisa ho,”(Who would be our next PM, Rahul Gandhi!) and crackers were bursted and flags of the Congress party were waving all around.

The party and its leader always kept on bragging that our party is doing great under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi but in reality, the facts display the completely different picture. After his elevation as vice-president, the Congress slid down to 44 seats in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of parliament, in the 2014 general election. It was the first time in history that the Congress went below 100 seats and the Scion was actually smiling during the announcements of result, such a sincere politician aiming to lead the country as Prime Minister.

Since then, the party still hasn’t settled into a new role. It has been losing election after election across many states in India. It has lost almost every election it has fought, be it assembly or of local bodies. It has lost state elections in Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Kerala, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Sikkim, Nagaland and many more… It also got a major setback in local body elections in Chandigarh, Faridabad, Gujarat, Odisha, Maharashtra including in the BMC election.

And today with the loss in their last strong citadel Karnataka, Congress has just reduced to 3 states now Punjab, Puducherry and Mizoram. All due to hard work of the Congress President. At the same time, the representation of Congress has reduced to only 2.5% of the population in the country. According to this statics, Congress has even become smaller in size as compared to Mamta Banerjee’s Trinmul Congress and Naveen Patnaik Biju Janta Dal. The party and its president turned out to be such a failure that despite gaining in Meghalaya, Goa and Manipur still the party failed to form their government.

The Congress President tried very hard to woo the voters of Karnataka along with trying every illegal means to win the elections but to their bad luck, they failed miserably. Congress has lost all the 14 seats where the Congress President Rahul Gandhi campaigned.

Where is the Congress President Rahul Gandhi now? Where is the upcoming Prime Ministerial candidate hiding? Hope he would be planning for his vacation. As he has said that after Karnataka elections he wants 10-15 days leave for going on a pilgrimage to Kailash Mansorav Yatra because “it was all over for him” when his charted plane encountered a technical snag. Mr Gandhi as now it’s all over you can go calmly and seek the blessings of Mahadev as your life is really important for all of us. You are “Star Campaigner” of BJP which never wants to lose you.

Due to his lack of leadership skills and his inability to win elections, Rahul Gandhi, has been somewhat of a laughingstock. The Congress President does not have the mettle to lead a country as vast as India. And under his leadership, the Congress has lost its sheen and doesn’t look to be in a position to even pose a challenge to the current BJP regime in the 2019 general elections.

Congress as a party has never taken care about national interest, It only cares about the minority vote bank, with leaders only caring about their vested interests for whom politics is only about making money. Today the ship of Congress party has drowned and people have once again rejected the appeasement politics of Congress and accepted the development model of PM Modi.
