Watch! Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ for the families of Indian Martyrs

Star power is about influencing your fans in the right direction. Akshay Kumar has always been open about the contribution of our Jawans towards the nation. Unlike other celebrities who only speak before a movie promotion, Akshay has taken the responsibility of honouring the martyrs who have laid down their lives for our motherland. The actor, who is at the peak of his career, received the National Film Award in the Best Actor category.

Akshay has been candid about his nationalistic views on social media. He even went on to post video asking women to learn self-defence after the ugly Bangalore molestation issue. Akshay, on the eve of Republic Day uploaded a video where he shared the virtuous idea of launching an app and a website for the families of Indian martyrs that could help contributors get in touch directly with the families of the martyrs. This would also help the donors to contribute directly & avoid middlemen.


Akshay’s suggestion was widely appreciated. The Indian Government also stepped in to extend its help & make it a reality. Akshay’s idea has developed into Bharat Ke Veer, a website & app portal that will help donors willing to contribute directly, to contact the families of martyrs.

Akshay told Hindustan times that the website was made exactly in two and a half months. “About three months back this idea came to my mind, while watching a documentary film on terrorists, which showed how Terror leaders financially support the families of terrorists who carry out terrorist acts.

The App’s launch was celebrated with the CRPF Valour Day. People can make donations up to Rs 15 lakh to the families of martyrs’ through Bharat Ke Veer. Home Minister Rajnath Singh & Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi thanked Akshay for taking up the noble initiative.

Akshay has been making contributions to the families of the Martyrs. The star has taken up a very good initiative. Akshay has also started a cancer treatment hospital for the police officers in Naigaon recently. The family members of the police officers can stay in the hospital during the course of the treatment. Akshay’s father Hari Om Bhatia also died due to cancer. His father was a military officer. The initiative to help the families of our real heroes will go a long way & has made an impact in the hearts of all Indians.
