Amazing reply by a Chinese Researcher! What shocking things do most Indians not know?

When the western world was covering their asses with leaves and hiding in caves, Indians were discovering the planets hidden beyond the reach of human eyes. But the Indians still have the tendency of considering the western countries as far more superior than them.

All credit goes to 200 odd years of the British rule (the people who didn’t even know the shape of the earth) who succeeded in cleaning the Indian-ness from the Indians. But luckily, we have few good men who remind the Indians of their great heritage.

What shocking things do most Indians not know?

The above question is very simple but to answer, hours are not enough. You can assume that either the answer is very long or the Indians don’t know the answer itself. But here, a Chinese researcher has answered this question with ease.

The Chinese researcher says,

  • I am a Chinese researcher, I know some Indians, most of them have no idea about Indian education system before 1947 (more precisely before present education system was introduced in India, which was introduced by the Britishers).

He gives a hint to the Indians, what is wrong with the present education system. The imported system is not correct, so better go with the “desi style” of education.

He adds, “Have you seen Indian temples, how can someone build these things without learning basics”. With this, what he meant was that the Indians who constructed the ancient temples which were thousand times complex than the modern day’s (so-called) wonders were the result of intelligent brains. To be specific, those brains weren’t from convent schools.

Below picture is taken from a book explaining the surveys done by Britishers on Indigenous Education in the Madras Presidency during 1822-26!

The above picture clearly shows that all sections of people were able to educate themselves. What is surprising, perhaps shocking, is that the number of Dalit students were more compared to that of Brahmins. This is enough to claim that ancient India didn’t discriminate on the basis of caste.

But now, a narrative has been floated that Dalits lived a pathetic life in ancient India. The Chinese researcher expresses his anger on the Indians especially Hindus by saying, “There are many things that most Indians specially Hindus don’t know about themselves”.

The world’s first university, established in the town of Rajgir, Bihar, which was founded in the early 5th century and it was known as Nalanda University. Nalanda is known as the ancient seat of learning. 2,000 teachers and over 10,000 students from all over the world lived and studied at Nalanda making it the first residential international university in the world.

If this university was present even today, Oxford, Cambridge and even Europe’s oldest University Bologna would have been a “Lilliput” in front of this university. The centre had eight separate compounds, ten temples, meditation halls, classrooms, lakes and parks. It had a nine-story library where monks meticulously copied books and documents so that individual scholars could have their own collections.

Even Taxila or Takshashila, in ancient India (modern-day Pakistan), was an early Hindu and Buddhist centre of learning. If these universities weren’t destroyed, then India wouldn’t have had reached this pathetic situation.

Firstly the Islamic invaders, than the British and other Christian rulers, and finally and more importantly is the  mentality of Indians who aren’t ready to feel proud about their royal heritage; all these three factors have pushed the Indians education system into a mode of bankruptcy and this is “the most shocking thing that most Indians do not know”.
