The smashing budget presented by Modi Government yesterday has not reached expectations of people but in fact has exceeded their expectations. Modi Government has covered all aspects very well and has taken care of each and everyone. It has brought happiness on each and every face.
One of the masterstrokes of a budget which makes every Indian proud is Modi Government budget allocation toward defence sector. For the first time in the history of India, the Modi government has allotted more than Rs 3,00,000 crore for the defence sector for the year 2019-20. Not just that, it was also announced that the government will provide additional fund if necessary.
While announcing the budget for the armed forces the Finance Minister said “Our soldiers protect our borders in tough conditions. They are our pride and honour. We also respected their dignity.
The Finance Minister also talked about how his Government has fulfilled the necessities of soldiers that were pending since long.
He told that the policy of One Rank One Pension (OROP) was pending for the last 40 years which have been now implemented and resolved by his Government as was promised in the election manifesto of the party.
He also disclosed how the previous Governments announced it in three budgets but sanctioned a mere 500 crores in 2014-15 Interim Budget; in contrast of his Government which have already disbursed over 35,000 crores after implementing the Scheme in its’ true spirit.
Apart from this the Modi Government also announced substantial hike in the Military Service Pay (MSP) of all service personnel and special allowances were given to Naval and Air Force personnel deployed in high risk duties
Modi Government after coming in power dismantled the network of agents in the defence deals which was prevalent over the decades of Congress Governments. This has helped to save thousands of crores of tax payer’s money going into the hands of the corrupts
This is a well-applauded move of PM Modi Government. After providing the brave hearts of the nation with One Rank One Pension, Bullet Proof Jackets, Modern and Deadly Weapons this historic budget allocation for defence shows Prime Minister Modi Government commitment toward our soldiers
This will strengthen our defence forces to such an extent that the enemy will think lakh times before taking any action. In fact the budget allocated by PM Modi Government to defence sector is more than the total budget outlay of Pakistan. The budget outlay of Pakistan for the year 2018-19 was 4.75 lakh crores in Pakistani rupees which is equal to 2.45 lakh crores when converted into Indian rupees. Therefore the defence budget allocation by India as per today’s announcement is higher than the total budget of Pakistan. So Pakistan should watch off where it stands in front of India
