‘Anyone who misbehaves with soldiers should be shot dead’ : Yogeshwar Dutt

India’s Olympic hero & ace wrestler Sushil Kumar has said that any sort of misbehavior with our army Jawans should be strongly dealt with. Reacting to a recent video of Indian Army Jawans being heckled by the fanatics in Kashmir, the Olympic Champion said that anyone who misbehaves with the army should be shot dead.

Condemning the incident Dutt said that what had happened with the Indian Army Jawan was extremely wrong. The jawan had been brutally attacked in the video. Yogi said that it was insulting & saddening for our country to see the Jawans being humiliated and thrashed. “Anyone who misbehaves with the soldier should be shot dead.”

He added, “Security forces should be given free hand to deal with such elements.”

Dutt had tweeted earlier about a subsequent incident where a Kashmiri man was tied to an army jeep by the 53RR.

Save them during floods and get stones in return, till then there’s nothing to worry about. He had said the prevailing situation was not extreme as the youth had only been tied to the vehicle & was not beaten. He had criticised the people who had questioned the army after a video was uploaded by Ex J&K CM Omar Abdullah of a Kashmiri man tied to an Indian Army jeep.

Babita Phogat also lashed at the secular brigade & said that it was totally unfair to question the army. She further added that the Army Jawans were guarding the borders so that the common citizens could sleep peacefully. Instead of being thankful people were actually questioning them. ‘Everyone should support our soldiers because they protect us day & night.’ Our soldiers should never be insulted & if such immoral activities are not put to a halt they will only increase over time.

Babita had also slammed representatives of the Azaadi Brigade. She had hit out at Javed Akthar, Rana Ayyub, Gurmehar Kaur & Barkha Dutt for siding with Pakistan.
