The Supreme Court has issued notices to the Delhi police among others on a petition that sought a SIT(Special Investigation Team) probe into the death of Sunanda Pushkar. Supreme Court has agreed to hear Subramanian Swamy’s PIL in the case.
My initial thoughts after hearing this news was, Shashi Tharoor will also run away from India but then if he runs, the Congress can’t blame that PM Modi is responsible behind these people running away from the country! Like how the usual Congress trend goes they ultimately blame over PM Modi.

The Supreme Court on Friday sought a response from the Delhi Police on a plea by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy for a court-monitored SIT probe into the death of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor’s wife Sunanda Pushkar.
A bench led by Justice Arun Mishra agreed to hear Swamy’s PIL and issued a notice to the Delhi Police. The court, however, made it clear that the issue of maintainability of Swamy’s petition is being kept open.
But for Mr Swamy, ???????.
Sunanda, NDTV, Lalit Modi, Mallya, Chidambarams, Nirav Modi,Choski,PNB, NPAs, RBI, Vadra, Augusta, Bofors,Pak Terror,FIR +++++.List is endless.NDA just a self professed Tiger.Lip Service. No tangible results. Not worth my Vote. @arunjaitley @PMOIndia

The caveat was added since the bench had on the last date pointed out that Swamy will have to satisfy the court how, as a third party, could seek orders into a criminal case. The BJP MP has come to the apex court in an appeal against the Delhi High Court order, which had dismissed his petition.
Terming his PIL as a “textbook example of a political interest litigation”, the HC had in October last year chastised the BJP leader and his lawyer for making “sweeping allegations” in the petition against Tharoor and the Delhi Police, without giving any basis for these accusations.

While dismissing the plea, the court said in future it expected Swamy to act with “circumspection” required from PIL petitioners. Pushkar was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a suite of a five-star hotel in Delhi on the night of January 17, 2014. Swamy, in his plea, had alleged that the police had “botched up” the probe and accused the Congress leader of “interfering” in the investigation now and even earlier when he was a minister in the UPA regime.
The court was hearing a petition filed by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy. On 26th of October, the Delhi high court had dismissed Swamy’s plea on grounds that it was perhaps a textbook example of political interest litigation being dressed up as public interest litigation. Swamy had moved the Delhi high court in July last year seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)-monitored SIT investigation into the alleged murder of Sunanda Pushkar, who was found dead in a south Delhi hotel room in 2014 in mysterious circumstances.
The petition had alleged that Tharoor, along with fellow Congress leader and former Union health minister and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad, tried to “mislead” the investigators and pressurize the head of the forensic department at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences to give a favourable autopsy report. The Bench said that they would have to be satisfied with the maintainability of the petition before they could start hearing the case on merits.
It is unbelievable how Dr. Swamy is fighting this case against the entire system of Lutyens Cabal, past UPA Govt & too many powerful persons who are against him. Hats off to you sir.
