Big Blow to Rahul Gandhi’s Congress! Now Rs 5,000-crore defamation suit will be filed against senior Congress leader by Anil Ambani group!!! Do you know why?

The Anil Ambani-led Reliance group has said it will file a Rs 5,000-crore defamation suit against Congress spokesperson “Abhishek Singhvi” for making "false and defamatory statements".

Congress members are never tired of creating false rumours and allegations, may it be the notable personalities, its staunch rival BJP party or the common men. They literally must undergo a serious training session now on making sensible statements.

Here comes yet again a fire ball towards the Congress party, from none other than the well-known business tycoon Anil Ambani himself. And this one is going to result a serious hit on Congress.

The Anil Ambani-led Reliance group has said it will file a Rs 5,000-crore defamation suit against Congress spokesperson “Abhishek Singhvi” for making “false and defamatory statements”.

A Reliance group spokesperson has reported that: “Abhishek Singhvi has made false, defamatory and libellous statements against the group. We will be filing a Rs 5,000-crore suit for damages against Singhvi for making these false and defamatory statements.”

All this resulted after Singhvi, had accused Finance Minister “Arun Jaitley” of “fooling” people with his statement that no loans of big defaulters have been waived and claimed that the government had written off Rs 1.88 lakh crore debt of those who had wilfully defaulted.

We all know that top 50 corporates owe Rs 8.35 lakh crore to banks and out of those, three top Gujarat-based companies — Reliance (Anil Ambani Group), Adani and Essar — owe Rs 3 lakh crore.

One of them had last month publicly declared that they are shutting their telecom business with a liability of Rs 45,000 crore due to banks.

“We would like to ask Finance Minister Arun Jaitley that far from declaring it as NPAs; you are trying to help the defaulter with further defence contracts like the Rafale deal. Why?” Singhvi asked alleging on Arun Jaitley as well as the Reliance group.

The reliance group does not seem to be sparing this accusation on them and filing this huge amount of suit on Abhishek Singhvi. And I am sure Congress leaders have a justification for this as well, in favour of Singhvi. As they keep explanations prepared, for every insensible statement that comes from its members.

Anil Ambani’s threat to sue the Congress- earlier !!

Earlier Rahul Gandhi also had attacked the BJP government over the Rafale fighter aircraft deal and asked the Centre to explain its “Reliance” over a leading business group with no experience in aerospace technology. In spite of Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Defence Limited’s threat to sue the Congress!!

In a series of taunting tweets, Rahul said Reliance Defence Limited has been picked to partner French firm Dassault in an act of “crony capitalism”.

“Self ‘Reliance’ is obviously a critical aspect of Make in India… Can you explain ‘Reliance’ on someone with nil experience in aerospace for Rafale deal?” Rahul said in his tweets.

The Congress had alleged that the Government neglected the interests of public sector Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) as French manufacturer of Rafale aircraft Dassault Aviation refused to transfer technology to it and instead entered into an agreement with Reliance Defence.

It has also alleged that the aircraft was being purchased at much higher rates than what was decided after the completion of the tender process under the previous UPA government.

Rahul also took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who, in the past, he has accused of running a “suit-boot ki sarkar” or government for the rich.

“Modi ji – nice touch removing the suit. What about the loot?” the Congress vice-president tweeted.

The Congress had earlier alleged that the Rafale deal amounted to compromising on national interest and security and promoted “crony capitalism”, while causing a loss to the public exchequer.

Anil Ambani’s Reliance Defence Limited had threatened to sue the Congress if it did not take back its charges.
