Big Breaking!!! 5 years of imprisonment for Lalu Prasad Yadav in the 3rd “Fodder Scam”

The corrupt Lalu Prasad Yadav has been finally nailed by the court of law. The court has sentenced 5 years of imprisonment to RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav. Now, it is interesting to see whether Lalu Yadav has to serve 5 more years in addition to 3.5 years of imprisonment that was pronounced in the previous verdict.

The case related to the fraudulent withdrawal from Chaibasa Treasury case, where Lalu Prasad Yadav has been found guilty by Special CBI court in Ranchi. Rs 33.67 crore was withdrawn on fake allotment letters by Lalu Prasad Yadav whereas the actual sanction of the amount was Rs 7.10 lakh. This took place in the year 1992-93, almost 2.5 decades ago.

Out of a total of 76 accused, 14 died during the trial, three turned approvers, two pleaded guilty and one is absconding. Of the 56 who faced the trial, six are politicians, three former IAS officers, six Animal Husbandry Department officials, a treasury official and 40 suppliers to the department, reported The Hindu.

Not just Lalu Prasad Yadav, but even 49 others including former Bihar CM Jagannath Mishra has been convicted by the CBI Special Court. What is shocking is that the Congress party is still in support of Lalu Prasad Yadav which shows that the Congress party will never dump the corrupts or corruption.

Weeks ago, Lalu Yadav was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year in prison over the fraudulent withdrawal of Rs. 89 lakh from the Deoghar district treasury between 1990 and 1994.

Lalu Yadav was first convicted in a fodder scam case in 2013. He was then awarded five-year imprisonment. But Lalu was roaming free on a bail and was created nuisance in the name of the so-called fight against corruption. After spending two months in jail, Lalu Yadav was successful in getting bail.

Shekar Gupta scores a massive self-goal!

When Lalu Prasad Yadav was sentenced to 3.5 years of imprisonment in the 2nd “fodder scam”, the owner of the website “The Print” said that only Dalits are getting convicted in India, as he gave the example of former CM Jagannath Mishra who got acquitted in the earlier scam.

But today, even Jagannath Mishra has been nailed by the CBI Special Court. This has proved that the court of justice doesn’t discriminate on the basis of castes. Now, it will be better if Shekar Gupta tenders an apology.
