Today it was really a “good morning” to all the Indians. When we got up from our bed, we got the good news that three terrorists were eliminated. The Indian Army killed three terrorists who were from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Sapore town of Baramulla district.
A joint operation was launched by the 179 battalion of the CRPF, 52 RR and SOG Sopore in Amargarh at around 0100 hours with intelligence inputs from the Jammu & Kashmir Police.
The eliminated terrorists have been identified as Javid Ahmad Dar, a resident of Khanpora in Baramullah and Abid Hamid Mir, a native of Hajin in Bandipore and the third terrorist is yet to be identified. This massive victory to the security forces came in just 4 days after the top terrorists Abu Dujana was killed. So Kashmir is all set to become terrorist free by this December.
It was said that when the forces were involved in search operation, the terrorists opened fire and in retaliation fire by the Indian forces, all three terrorists were eliminated. Three AK-74 rifles have been recovered from the slain terrorists.
AK-74 is a short gun and this proves that the terrorists have access to all kind of modern weapons to disturb peace in the valley.

So by this, the count of the terrorists eliminated this year moved up to 122. This is really a big number because last year 119 terrorists were killed. With still five more months to go, this count will surely cross 250.
And as usual, the internet service has been suspended in the North Kashmir and the schools and colleges are closed as a precautionary move.
North Kashmir IGP Nitish Kumar said that one police Jawan has been injured in the encounter.
“The terrorists were killed in Amargarh area of Sopore in an encounter with police, army and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the slain terrorists. The exact identity of the terrorists is being established. One police constable was injured during the encounter. He was shifted to hospital where doctors have described his condition as stable” said the Police spokesman Manoj Pandita.
