Right time makes way for right things to happen. In a major victory for BJP Party and the team of PM Narendra Modi, Congress has lost its State working president and MLA to BJP! It’s time Congress gives up with dignity than loose with shame in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Seems like Congress will fall short of candidates this election.
Here’s what BJP should be celebrating for: The Bharatiya Janata Party dealt a major blow to the Opposition Congress in Chhattisgarh after the latter’s state working president and MLA Ram Dayal Uike rejoined the ruling saffron brigade in the state ahead of the assembly elections.
Uike is popular name among the Tribals in the Bilaspur division. A well known leader known for his work and contribution to the Tribal Community. Uike while talking about his decision of moving back to BJP, expressed about feeling suffocated in the Congress as Scheduled Tribe (ST) leaders were being “Neglected” by the party leadership.
“I had been feeling suffocated in Congress for the last several years. Congress has diverted from its ideology and principles. The CD politics of Congress has tarnished its image. State Congress chief Bhupesh Baghel has maligned the image of the party by encouraging the obscene CD politics,” Uike said.
Uike was apparently referring to the circulation of a ‘sex CD’ purportedly featuring a state minister, in which Baghel was named as one of the five accused. He further said his party high command did not pay attention to his demand to remove Baghel from the post of state unit president.
Yet another concern expressed by him was about the Tribal community and to what extent they were neglected by the Congress party. This negligence towards the backward community was painful to learn about. And that’s what made his decision stronger to quit the biased party.
“Congress has neglected the interests of tribals, backward and poor people and I was pained over it as I represent a tribal region. CM Raman Singh has been making efforts for the overall development of tribals and backward people and his development-oriented policies have impressed me to rejoin my home party,” he said.
For obvious reasons, Congress will twist and turn this entry of Uike, as a Opportunistic reunion from Congress to BJP. Evil in mind will always see evil through eyes, which perfectly suits well with the Congress intentions. Well, this join must be a warning to the Opposition, to either change their wicked minds or rather give up the fight for the betterment of India.
When asked about contesting elections, he said he will follow the directions of the party leadership in this regard.
Representing the Pali-Tanakhar constituency, Uike joined the BJP in the presence of Party President Amit Shah, BJP state unit president Dharamlal Kaushik and Chief Minister Raman Singh at the district headquarters in Bilaspur.
