The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started prepping for upcoming general elections as Narendra Modi successfully completes 4 years of his Prime Ministerial tenure. The Single largest party is geared up with its list of achievements and a new slogan that seeks to focus not just on development projects being executed by the centre.
The BJP believes the party is within striking distance of a significant improvement in its performance in the 2019 elections. A three-minute video briefs you on how various schemes and decisions have impacted the lives of people ,focuses on the improvement in the quality of life of people belonging especially to the working class or the middle income groups.
The tag line goes like this: “Saaf Niyat, Sahi Vikas” (Clean Intentions, Right Development)
And the punch line – “2019 Mein Phir Modi Sarkar” – is seen as an extension of the BJP’s slogan for the 2014 elections, “Abki Baar Modi Sarkar”.
“Saaf Niyat, Sahi Vikas”- This slogan has been indeed true on part of PM Modi and his team. They have literally followed this by the depth of its meaning. And none can deny this fact.
This is basically an attempt to inform people and remind them about the changes that have come true in the tenure of PM Modi Government. It is mainly comparing the previous 70 years of Congress rule and the present 4 years of PM Modi, and asking the people to cross check the difference on their own. And decide whom would they choose in 2019.
One of the major comendable milestone achieved by the PM Modi Government of providing electricity to 18,000 villages that had no access to power till 2014 was indeed a splendid job. A village is declared electrified if 10% of the households along with public places like schools and health centers have electricity. The government plans to provide electricity to every household by the year-end under the Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana –“Saubhagya”.
Another major initiative is the provision of subsidies to those houses which lacked cooking gas. Free cooking gas connections to poor families, that has helped widen its support base, especially in rural areas, “four crore poor families received gas connection, five crore more left to go”.
The “Bullet Train Project” that aims at developing a high speed rail corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad will be the Railway Ministry’s biggest success so far. In its promotional campaign, the government will use the bullet train as a metaphor for what it calls fast-paced development during the last four years.
The achievements listed above are a few among many to be noted down under the milestones of PM Modi Sarkar, and many to be added until the end of this December 2018. The Man who is been criticized every now and then as a “Chaiwala” , a “Neech Aadmi” and what not. Let me tell you people the same Chaiwala has achieved all those in just “4 years” which you failed to do in the past 70 years!
The Nation stands with the man who stood for his Mother India and its people sacrificing his kith and kin…
