The bloodiest Ramzan: 161 terror attacks, 1,627 dead and 1,824 wounded in Ramzan 2017!

Ramzan is supposed to be the holiest month for Muslims but this Ramzan was the bloodiest as there were hundreds of terror attacks all across the world.

According to Breitbart News tally, Islamic extremists killed more than 1,600 people during this Ramzan, marking one of the deadliest Ramzans in modern history.

At the end of Ramzan, the total number of casualties across the world for the entire holy month had reached 3,451 (1,627 murders and 1,824 injuries), more than tripling the 1,150 (421 deaths and 729 injuries) that took place in 2016, considered the deadliest holy month in recent memory.

Islamist terrorists use the holy month to ramp up attacks on non-believers because they get additional rewards for becoming martyrs during Ramadan. 1,627 fatalities this year nearly quadrupled the estimated 421 deaths last year. There were an estimated 160 terror incidents in nearly thirty predominantly Muslim countries during Ramzan 2017.

Even jihadists attempted to attack Islam’s most sacred Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia at the end of Ramzan.

The Islamic State issued multiple messages and appealed to its followers to carry out deadly attacks during Ramzan across the world. According to Breitbart News tally, it was ISIS-linked jihadist groups were behind 40 percent terror incidents during Ramzan.

It is alleged that Islamic extremist groups encourage their sympathizers and followers to kill others so they will be doubly rewarded by Allah.
