Delhi Government is exposed to have found a new ally to convert their black money into white. Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is under the glare of suspicion in helping Arwind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party for exchanging their unaccounted stock of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes into the new currency. BJP Delhi President Satish Upadhyay has written a letter in this regard to Lieutenant Governor Mr. Najeeb Jung accusing Arvind Kejriwal and his party of using DTC to convert their illegal cash stock of banned notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000.
The suspicion on DTC rose when DTC deposited Rs 3 Crore revenue mostly in Rs 500 and Rs 1000 banned currency notes. As Demonetization norm, citizens are allowed to use their Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes for paying fare in Public Transport. But in real practice, passengers in Public Transport use small currency notes as the fares in Public Transport ranges from Rs 5 to Rs 25. Irrespective of Demonetization, the bus conductors always demand exact fare amount from passengers as it is difficult for them to return change in small denominations to all passengers. Even after Demonetization, people haven’t considered Public Transport as a facilitator for exchanging their stock of banned currency notes. Mostly it is middle class and lower middle class citizens who use public transport. It is highly unlikely that the revenue submitted by DTC should have mostly banned currency.
Hence Mr Satish Upadhyay has stated in his letter to the Lieutenant Governor that Aam aadmi Party might be converting their unaccounted Donations money by using DTC. He has appealed to LG to demand an explanation from the DTC Management in this regard. DTC being a Public Institution, it might be big blot on the Institution if the allegations are proved against them.
Since Demonetization, the black money holders are extremely agitated. They are mostly politicians and businessmen. They are using different means and methods to retrieve their black money. Demonetization is proved to be a historic move by PM Modi against Black money hoarding and terror Funding. Common people of India have wholeheartedly welcomed PM’s move and extended their great support to Demonetization all over India. People have suffered the petty inconveniences of exchanging or withdrawing cash happily and proudly. But the politicians from almost all opposition Parties have criticized it with the lame excuse of inconvenience to common people.
Arvind Kejriwal is the most vocal opponent of Demonetization. Since Demonetization, Kejriwal is giving most bizarre and idiotic statements than ever. Looks like this Congress mouthpiece has been the biggest victim of Demonetization. His tweets, videos and statements are rebuffed by Indians vigorously. His support system on SM called Aaptards is managed with monetary benefits. With Demonetization, they are on decline and will vanish soon. The pampered Paid Media has been Kejriwal’s mouthpiece all these years. After Demonetization, Media won’t sing to his tunes for long. Demonetization is known to have crashed his cash network from unaccounted donations and hawala funding.
The News of allegations against Kejriwal and his party for using DTC to convert their black money come as a big blow on Kejriwal as well as DTC.
