Breaking! Indian army finds new medicine for stone pelting disease in Kashmir!

It was just a few days ago when a few of our soldiers were martyred in a terrorist attack, & the major cause for the casualties on our side was the way some Kashmiri youth interfered in the Army operation & pelted stones on the army personnel.

When Prime Minister Modi went to pay his tributes to the martyred soldiers, he had a long chat with COAS Bipin Rawat, after which General Rawat addressed the media.

For the first time ever a COAS directly & bluntly addressed the issue of stone-pelters in Kashmir who obstruct the army in conducting operations. He went on to say that we want these misguided youths to return into the mainstream, but if they don’t, we will consider them terrorist aides & they will be targeted.

Today, he proved that his words weren’t merely lip service. Take a look at these tweets of Ahmed Ali Fayyaz who is a journalist in J&K –

A Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist was killed by the security forces after an encounter broke suspected terrorists holed up in Pulwama’s Padgampora, district of Jammu & Kashmir.

Early reports suggested presence of 2-3 terror operatives in the area. A few gunshots were heard & the security forces cordoned off the area. They were fired at, triggering the exchange by the security forces.

Some say that the death of Aamir Wani could have been due to a ‘stray bullet’, but basing on what this journalist is saying it seems that he was indeed a stone-pelter who was shot down by the Army for interfering in its operation.

If Aamir was indeed a stone-pelter & as per COAS’s command he was shot down, then this is a turning point in India’s fight against terrorism in Kashmir.

Militants & separatists give small amounts of money to Kashmiri people to pelt stones at the army to aid the terrorists in escaping the onslaught of the Army, & this has been going for decades. The Army never had the freedom to take any action against those abetting the terrorists. But now that the Army has shown that these people won’t be a hindrance in tackling the terrorists, this should bring down the level of extremism in the valley as common Kashmiris wouldn’t dare assisting terrorists for the fear of getting killed.

Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi needs to be applauded for giving freedom to the Army to take action against anyone who poses a threat to our soldiers or the countrymen. After all, nothing is more precious than the lives of our soldiers, & everything must be done to protect them!
