Breaking! Nitish Kumar skips lunch meet with Sonia Gandhi, to meet PM Modi on Saturday!

Nitish Kumar recently has been sending mixed signals about his interest to join NDA government again.

Since past 6 months his relation with Lalu Prasad Yadav has turned sore with the later indulging in many corrupt practice. This is hitting the image of Nitish Kumar badly. After Republic TV was launched, the first program done by Arnab was against Lalu Yadav and his links with underworld don shahabuddin which made Nitish government lose his face.

Sonia Gandhi today had invited all the opposition parties for lunch meet in Delhi. The meeting was attended by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader Ahmed Patel, another Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, leader A.K. Antony, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, NCP leader Sharad Pawar, CPI-M’s Sitaram Yechury, CPI General Secretary S Sudhakar Reddy, CPI’s D Raja and JD(U) veteran Sharad Yadav, veteran Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajma, JD (S) member CS Puttaraju, the then Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders Ram Gopal Yadav, Naresh Agarwal, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief Mayawati, DMK leader Kanimozhi, Kerala Congress leader Jose Mani, IUML leader P.K. Kunhalikutty, National Conference’s working president Omar Abdullah, Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) member N.K.Premachandran, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Party (JMM) MP Sanjeev Kumar, J. Iemant Soren, as per a PTI report.

But surprisingly Nitish Kumar skipped Sonia’s invite. What is even more surprising is Nitish Kumar has made all arrangements to meet PM Modi on Saturday.

This has raised the eyebrows of all politicians who are eager to know what is Nitish Kumar planning. However, JD(U) spokesperson Ajay Alok said this is only an official meet and nothing personal will be discussed.

But Nitish Kumar has kept everyone guessing and we will have to wait and watch the further developments.
