BJP leader K Rajashekaran told Republic TV that Makkutty had insulted the ‘Gomatha’. He said that the cow slaughtering incident was very unfortunate and the congress was trying to send out a negative message. The Kerala Congress leader deliberately made the barbaric move, to please his masters & oppose the centre’s Cow Slaughter ban.
The nation reacted strongly as the Congress party drew wide criticism for hurting Hindu sentiments. States of Kerala & Tamil Nadu have been in the news for opposing the Centre. An IIT PHD scholar was also trashed after he called for a beef best in IIT Madras.
The liberals tried to bank on the obsolete phrases of Freedom of expression & Freedom of Speech, but after the age-old corrupt party faced the wrath of the Hindus, Rahul Gandhi came up with a pretentious tweet. He criticized and condemned the act. The Congress vice president, like always failed to create an impact.
