After the rise of PM Modi to power, the bad days had started to the Congress party as the saffron party easily captured on after another state from Congress and its allies’ clutches and even unearthed the scams that took place during the 10 years of UPA era. Now the Congress party is entangled in another trouble and it is of sexual harassment.
Even though Rahul Gandhi speaks of women empowerment and equality for women in his election rallies, the women were actually not safe in the Congress party. Months ago the NSUI president was exposed after a girl dared to speak about the sexual harassment she underwent at the hands of NSUI leader. But Rahul Gandhi didn’t even tweet on it.
The next big incident was that of a woman named Nausheen Haider, who was harassed in the social media team of the Congress party. The victim was regularly harassed by the accused Chirag Patnaik and the lady said “I have never seen someone staring at me the way Chirag did. It made me so uncomfortable. He invaded my personal space. Even when I was having my food he would point his shoes at me”.
Nausheen Haider had even said that even though she brought the issue to the notice of Congress IT head Ramya, her plea went unheard. She even said that Rahul Gandhi let her down. And on 31st July, accused Chirag Patnaik was arrested by the Delhi police.
Now in the chargesheet, Ramya a.k.a Divya Spanda has also been named by the police and this has been an incident of huge embarrassment for the Congress party.
Earlier there were rumors that nothing was going well in the Congress IT department as the senior leaders were angry with the behavior of Ramya a.k.a Divya Spandana. There were even talks that the party leaders were angry due to Ramya’s abusive tweets on the Prime Minister of the nation, Mr Narendra Modi.
