Check which Indian Billionaire said “PM Modi should retain power, or things would Nosedive”

From a poor to billionaire, Indians are heavily backing the re-election of PM Modi in 2019. They believe that if it is not PM Modi, then India’s growth story would be seriously hit and the nation might even go couple of decades back in terms of development.

The same thing was iterated by Christopher Wood, managing director, equity strategist at CLSA who said “the India story would be badly damaged if Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not re-elected”.

Now another billionaire from India has said that PM Modi must win in 2019 for the sake of the nation. It is none other than the group chairman of Larsen and Toubro (L&T) Anil Manibhai Naik who said PM Modi is a tough taskmaster with great capabilities.

Mr Anil Manibhai Naik said this in an exclusive interview that was given to DNA India. When a question was asked “What are your expectations for L&T from 2019 as this year is going to be important one due to the general elections?”, he said “This year’s elections are going to be different as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is a tough taskmaster with great capabilities, is being pressurised from all sides by the Opposition, which does not like his style of working”.

Anil Manibhai Naik also predicted how much seats will the Congress party manage to obtain. He continued saying “The current situation is Modi versus all, thus this election is going to be tough for Modi. That’s why I feel that the election results must be a good one, and Modi should retain power. Or else things will nosedive, and we have experienced a situation twice where the prime minister has been changed in six months. In the second scenario, the Congress, which can win maximum 100-125 seats, will have to form the government with support from 12-15 parties, which is not good for the country”.

He is not the only top business man to back PM Modi. Infosys co-founder Narayan Murthy had also backed PM Modi for 2019. Even Warren Buffet of India, Mr Rrakesh Jhunjhunwala had said that PM Modi will win in 2019 elections.
