Congress in trouble as its senior leader Digvijay Singh’s involvement in the Bhima-Koregaon case emerges!

Congress party has always taken the side of Maoists. It was speculated earlier due to behaviour of the Congress that the Congress party is in direct connection with Urban Naxals and provides them support for their Anti-India campaigns. And now the shocking revelations has come front during the investigation of Prime Minister Modi assassination case by the Pune Police which have put more weightage to the Congress connection with Maoists.

During the investigation the Pune Police has seized some letters from the arrested activists. In one of such letter the senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh mobile number was reportledly mentioned on the letter and it is also revealed in the letter that how the Congress was eager to support them in their various movements

In the letter, dated September 25, 2017, “one ‘Com Prakash’ purportedly tells one ‘Com Surendra’ that Congress leaders were “very much willing to assist” in their efforts to “intensify nationwide protests using students”. The letter allegedly mentions a cellphone number that ‘Com Surendra’ can contact “in this regard”. Suhas Bawache, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Pune, confirmed to Zee News that it has verified that the number in the letter belongs to Digvijaya Singh.

According to Pune police, ‘Com Surendra’ is a reference to Surendra Gadling, a Nagpur-based lawyer who was arrested in June. ‘Com Prakash’ is one of the top CPI (Maoist) commanders, said police.
When confronted by the BJP Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shiv Raj Singh Chahuhan the senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh has denied all the allegations and infact has dared the Central Government to arrest him if it can. If I am guilty, I challenge the Centre and the state government to arrest me,” he was quoted as saying in Satna.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police Suhas Bavche said that the contents of that letter were under investigation, but refused to share further details.

It is not the first time the links of Congress is being witnessed with the Maoists. Earlier in the month of August Congress Party President, Rahul Gandhi also showed his support to the accused of Bhima Koregaon, as he wrote, “There is only place for one NGO in India and it’s called the RSS. Shut down all other NGOs. Jail all activists and shoot those that complain”.

The same Congress which in 2006, used to describe Naxals as “the single biggest internal security challenge ever faced by our country,” by the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh now seems to have shaked hands with the internal terrorists destroying the nation just for the lust of power. These revelations clearly indicate how Congress supports Urban Naxals and their direct connection with them.

The Pune police have already arrested several prominent activists in this case, which started as an investigation into the alleged Maoist links to the Elgaar Parishad meeting on December 31 last year, where speeches and songs “provoked the masses” and “aggravated violence” at Koregaon Bhima the next day.And soon the police is likely to question senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh in connection with their ongoing investigation in the case.
