Expected!!! Bhutan thanks India for chasing away Chinese Army from Doklam Area!

Finally, a 73-day standoff between China and Indian troops in Doklam comes to an end. Today, Bhutan thanked India over Dokalm issue and said, “A friend in need is a friend in deed.”

Further, Bhutan hoped that it would help in ensuring peace and tranquillity at the tri-junction.The Bhutan Foreign Ministry has said, “We hope this contributes to the maintenance of peace and tranquillity and status quo along the borders of Bhutan, China and India in keeping with the existing agreements between the respective countries,”.

“Bhutan welcomes the disengagement by the two sides at the face-off site in the Doklam area,” the ministry added.

Last day, in a major diplomatic breakthrough, India, and China disengaged their border personnel at Doklam.Since June 16, troops of the two countries had been stuck in a stand-off in Doklam, after Indian troops stopped the Chinese army from constructing a road in the disputed area.

Further, India has intervened in the issue to help Bhutan as it’s requested and helped to secure its territory. Then, China threatened India on the border security. India had deployed about 350 army personnel in the area.

Now, Bhutan is relieved. It was a huge issue that created dilemmas in tri-junction as well as in the nation. The defense ministry kept tracking China’s every moves in order to stop them from constructing the road, which would cause high threats to border security. But, 56” inches chest has done magic over Doklam.

China kept imagining it’s 1962 kind of “Honey-trapped” victory, but it doesn’t know the power of India now.
