Two days back a fake letter was doing rounds all over the social media. It was claimed that the letter is written by 156 veterans to the President of India to act strongly against Modi Government misuse of Armed Forces to garner votes. The letter was titled “FROM A GROUP OF VETERANS TO OUR SUPREME COMMANDER”. The letter also claimed that several Armed Force veterans had signed it including Gen SF Rodrigues, PVSM, VSM.
But the lie was soon busted by the veterans whose names were mentioned in the list, they themselves came out in public and revealed that they never signed such sort of form. General SF Rodrigues who was mentioned as the first signatory in the purported letter written by armed forces veterans to President, denied signing it and said that “We in the services have always done what the Govt in power ordered us, we are an instrument of the state. We are apolitical. Anyone can say anything and then sell it as fake news, I don’t know who this gentleman is who wrote this (purported letter to Press)”
Not much time has passed that now another fake letter for spoiling the image of BJP is doing the rounds. The letter is claimed to be written by senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi to another senior leader Lal Krishan Advani in which he has criticized how the state of the party is getting ruined under the leadership of PM Modi
Some #fakeNews in the name of Murli Manohar Joshi doing rounds. it even has @ANI @ishaan_ANI logo on it. Joshi ji has confirmed not written by him. Beware of fake news in these #LokSabhaElections2019 pic.twitter.com/wbG7sTg5iE

The letter further stated that senior leader Murli Manohar Joshi is unhappy with the recent state of the party and in the upcoming LokSabha Elections for which the first phase of voting has been done; BJP is not going to perform well. The letter stated that BJP will be able to secure only around 120 seats but not more than this. Even the letter portrayed the poor state of the BJP in Phase 1 of the voting
The letter also carries a stamp of news agency ANI, giving the impression that it was released by ANI. But news agency ANI has come out and said that no such letter exists. It is completely fake. The agency tweeted “Screenshots of BJP MP Murli Manohar Joshi statement on his letterhead is circulating on WhatsApp and Twitter with an ANI watermark. No such letter exists. This is fake.”

This is a deliberate attempt by the haters of the BJP party who want to spoil the image of BJP and want to create a divide between the party. They want to show that the senior leadership of the party is not happy with PM Modi- Amit Shah duo which is a big lie. BJP is a party for which “ Party is Parivar Hai” and every leader respect every another leader. These all are propaganda of opposition. Do not fall in their trap
