If we ask who is the joker of Indian politics, one will either point out at Rahul Gandhi or Arvind Kejriwal. While Rahul Gandhi has maintained his consistency in entertaining Indians, Arvind Kejriwal has made a downfall from a revolutionary politician to a liar.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Arvind Kejriwal had big plans if he had succeeded –defeated PMmodi from varanasi. That’s why from delhi, he went to uttar pradesh’s varanasi to put up a fight against modi was the prime ministerial candidate then.
However after the results were out, Mr Kejriwal had to taste defeat by a margin over 3.70 lakh votes. A mammoth 56.37 percent of the voters had backed Mr Modi while just 20.30 percent voters supported Kejriwal. And now the Delhi CM Kejriwal, who is widely hated even in Kejriwal for his anarchy, has now decided not to contest against PM Modi in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi.
This was revealed by AAP spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh who said “Kejriwal will not contest the Lok Sabha polls, as he wants to give special focus to his state. The AAP will contest on all the Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Goa. The party will contest on some seats in UP, and final modalities will be worked out by February. Apartfrom Varanai, the party will contest from seats in eastern and western UP, where the organisation is strong”.
Recently Arvind Kejriwal had openly attacked Congress party by asking the voters not to vote for the Congress party. But later on it was said that Congress and AAP are planning to contest Lok Sabha polls in Delhi by forming an alliance. This prediction became even stronger after Ajay Maken quit from Delhi state president post. He was a vocal opposer of AAP led Kejriwal’s nonsense.
