Finally NIA court drops MCOCA charges against Sadhvi Pragya and Col. Purohit in Malegaon blast, not to be tried as terrorists anymore!!!

After years and years of struggle, the NIA court today dropped the MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) against Sadhvi Pragya, Col. Srikanth Purohit and two others in the Malegaon blast case. The court also said that they will not be tried as terrorists anymore.

However, Sadhvi Pragya and Col Purohit will be tried under UAPA (Unlawful Activities- Prevention) section 18 and other charges of the IPC said the court. The NIA court had granted bail to Sadhvi Pragya and Col Purohit earlier this year after they spent 9 years in jail. There was anger in the minds of people against the NIA and ATS when they failed to produce evidence even after 9 years of arrest which showed that there was conspiracy behind the arrest.

Col Purohit who was granted bail in August had given statement that his arrest was a conspiracy by few politicians. It is well known that Congress had a major role in arresting Col. Purohit who was investigating the terror modules in India, fake currency racket in which many politicians were said to be involved. He was also said to be investing the ISI-Naxals links and a very powerful politician of Jammu Kashmir is said to have protected terrorists and giving financial support.

It is said that Col. Purohit exposing these dark truths was the main reason why he got trapped in the Malegaon blast. The entire plot of Malegaon blast was to black list the RSS and all Hindu outfits in the name of saffron terror and finally target the BJP, L K Advani and Modi who was then emerging as a National leader.

Now, Col Purohit and Sadhvi Pragya getting cleared from all MCOCA charges has come as a big relief. Col. Purohit’s wife who spoke to Republic TV said that truth was with them and was sure of getting justice.

To know why exactly Col. Purohit was arrested and what information he knew about the politicians and terror links read:

Who really is Lt. Col Purohit? What secrets did he know that made Congress desperately put him in jail?
