Frightened after PM Modi and Ajit Doval duo brought Christian Michel to India, now Vijay Mallya pleads with India

The Modi government has finally done the unthinkable as it has succeeded in extraditing the middleman Christian Michel in the Augusta Westland Scam from Dubai. This has created sensation in the Delhi politics because Christian Michel is not a normal man.

Augusta Westland scam which is also called as Chopper scam or Choppergate is relating to the supply of 12 AgustaWestland AW101 helicopters. It is said that Augusta Westland offered bribes to Indian officials and politicians in order to win the contract through the middleman Christian Michel.

It is alleged that Sonia Gandhi, Ahmed Patel and many senior Congress leaders had received massive kick backs. To allot this contract to AgustaWestland International Ltd (AWIL), the service ceiling of the VVIPs helicopter were reduced from 6000 metres to 4500 metres and finally the contract for an amount of Euro 556.262 million was awarded to AgustaWestland International Ltd (AWIL).

Now that Christian Michel is being grilled in the CBI headquarters, the chances are high that this could be a turning point in the Indian political arena. And the credit goes to Prime Minister Modi and NSA Ajit Doval.

Not just Christian Michel was close to the Congress party, even his father Wolfgang Max Michel Richard was active in India in the 80s and the 90s. After the grilling grilling of Christian Michel has begun, the liquor baron Vijay Mallya is in panic mode as he made a series of tweet urging that he will pay all the loans to the Indians banks.

He even said what politicians and media are doing is false. This seems that the extradition of Christian Michel has sent fears down the spine of fugitives.

Below is the statement of rattled Vijay Mallya:

  • Politicians and Media are constantly talking loudly about my being a defaulter who has run away with PSU Bank money. All this is false. Why don’t I get fair treatment and the same loud noise about my comprehensive settlement offer before the Karnataka High Court. Sad.
  • Airlines struggling financially partly because of high ATF prices. Kingfisher was a fab airline that faced the highest ever crude prices of $ 140/barrel. Losses mounted and that’s where Banks money went.I have offered to repay 100 % of the Principal amount to them. Please take it.
  • For three decades running India’s largest alcoholic beverage group, we contributed thousands of crores to the State exchequers. Kingfisher Airlines also contributed handsomely to the States. Sad loss of the finest Airline but still I offer to pay Banks so no loss. Please take it.
  • I see the quick media narrative about my extradition decision. That is separate and will take its own legal course. The most important point is public money and I am offering to pay 100% back. I humbly request the Banks and Government to take it. If payback refused, WHY?
