From planning to destroy the Ram Sethu under Sonia Gandhi era, which is the main evidence to prove that Ramayana indeed took place, to the planning of construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya under the Modi era, Lord Ram has seen a revival in his home land.
A decade back the Hindu majority were compelled to believe that Lord Ram would be a refugee in his own land but now entire situation has reversed. From restoring the names of cities related to Lord Ram to fighting in court to build a home to Lord Ram, the Modi government has done everything to respect the hero of India who existed thousands of years ago.
And now the Modi government has moved one step forward to make the dream of Ram Bhakts come true by announcing the “Shri Ramayana Express” that will begin its journey from Delhi, then visit Ayodhya and make its final stop in Sri Lanka. Hasn’t this excited you?
The ‘Shri Ramayana Express’ of the Indian Railways will walk down the memory lane of Ramayana by starting its journey from Safdarjung railway station in Delhi and make its first stop in Ayodhya. The next stops of Shri Ramayana Express will be at Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Janakpur, Varanasi, Prayag, Shringaverpur, Chitrakoot, Hampi, Nasik and Rameshwaram.
This historic voyage of “Shri Ramayana Express” will start from November 14, 2018 from Delhi. The trip will take 16 days to visit places associated with Ramayana, both in India and Sri Lanka. What is even more fascinating about this trip is that the total cost of it is just Rs 15,120 but only in India and the Sri Lanka tour will start from Rs 36,970 per person.
“The passengers opting for Sri Lanka leg of the Ramayana Yatra package can take a flight to Colombo from Chennai. IRCTC presently offers 5-night/6-day Sri Lanka tour package at a cost starting from Rs 36,970 per person” said the report.
This trip will be operated by IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation). If you wish to go on this once in a life time trip then go to IRCTC Tourism official website- irctctourism.com and confirm your booking as the ‘Shri Ramayana Express’ consists 800 seats and will be done in standard category only.
