Here’s how Congress party and the man who tried to stop the deportation of Rohingyas from India, are fooling the Indians in the ongoing CBI scuffle

It’s very disheartening to see the officials of top institution (CBI) of the nation who investigate others for corruption, themselves involved in such an ugly tussle of laying corruption charges against each other which led the Central Government to finally intervene in the matter

Taking immediate action against them the central  government had send both the officers involved Rakesh Asthana and Alok Verma on leave and also appointed senior IPS officer M Nageshwar Rao, a joint director within the CBI to take over the duties and functions of CBI Director with immediate effect

But as Prime Minister Modi Government’s any move doesn’t go well with the opposition and PM Modi-haters. The same way this also was not digestible to them and they started pointing their fingers towards PM Modi Government

Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan took to twitter and attacked PM Modi government saying the BJP government removed director Alok Verma from his office as he was pursuing corruption charges on Special Director CBI Rakesh Asthana.

Bhushan also alleged Asthana’s involvement in the Rafale deal was the reason for the government’s alacrity to protect him from Verma’s investigation.

The attack of senior lawyer not only stopped here but went further laying corruption charges against the newly appointed director M Nageshwar Rao.The senior lawyer even made personal attacks on Prime Minister Modi by referring CBI special director Asthana as “blue eyed boy of PMO” and top investigative agency as “Modi’s CBI Gate”

Not only the senior lawyer, even Randeep Surjewala, In-charge,Communications, All India Congress Committee took to Twitter to float a Rafale deal theory and wrote, “Has the CBI Director been sacked for his keenness to probe the layers of corruption in Rafale Scam? Isn’t the rest a shoddy cover up?”

Furthermore, addressing a press conference on Wednesday over the massive shakeup in the CBI, the Congress alleged that the government has Rafale-o-mania and Rafale-o-phobia.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia in a tweet tried to draw link between the Rafale deal and the CBI Director being sent on leave. He wrote “heard that the ‘Rafale-deal’ was about to investigated but instead the CBI Director was sent on leave.”

What seems absurd in the ongoing sequence of events are the senior lawyer change in stance of his own statements as earlier during the appointment of CBI director Alok Verma by PM Modi Government he had moved to the Supreme Court terming his appointment as ‘illegal’ as well as the Congress and opposition linking this to Rafale deal.

Why suddenly Prashant Bhushan , Congress and all other opposition parties are supporting CBI director Alok Verma?  Is it because of Director Alok Verma’s close connections with Congress? Is it a conspiracy hatched by opposition to trap the special director Asthana as he was investigating some high profile cases including INX Media case?

Details of the Feud between CBI officials

The CBI had earlier filed an FIR against Rakesh Asthana in a corruption case alleging him of accepting around Rs 3 crore as a bribe from one Satish Sana in a case involving meat exporter Moin Qureshi and has also accused Asthana of his involvement in corruption with regard to the Sterling Biotech case

On the other hand, Asthana had accused Alok Verma of “interfering” in his work and alleged that Verma had hatched a conspiracy to target him. Asthana also alleged that it was Verma who had accepted to the bribe from Satish Sana and had also tried to stall a raid on Lalu Prasad in the IRCTC case.

Here’s is another twist to the case against Rakesh Asthana
Amidst of all this, it has also come to forefront that CBI’s case against Rakesh Asthana is based on a Whatsapp display picture as nowhere in his complaint, Sana has claimed that he knows Asthana or he directly paid money to him according to reports.

Opposition if is planning any such conspiracy will not be successful in its attempt as the law will follow its path and soon the truth will be in front of everyone.
