Congress conspired against Amit Shah and put him out of Gujarat; But Shah turned it into an opportunity and demolished the Congress

The art of manipulating must be learnt from Congress. It was master in misusing the government organisations for their personal benefits. These organisations were trusted by crores of Indians but Congress never respected people’s opinion.

When we come across the name Ishrat Jahan, for some nationalists she is a terrorist but the present opposition party considered her as their sister. This drama was done just to corner Modi and Amit Shah. CBI was used by Congress not to curb terrorism but to destroy their political rivals. But congress couldn’t hide its misdeeds.

Congress planned to eliminate Amit Shah in two cases. Those are Ishrat Jahan and Sohrabuddin encounter case. Read to know how it back-fired Congress.

How Congress used CBI and tortured honest bureaucrats?

The then CBI director just before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections said that UPA would have been happier if Amit Shah would have been charge-sheeted in the Ishrat Jahan case. He also said that the CBI had no evidence against Amit Shah.

In another case, R V S Mani, the then Under Secretary in the Home Ministry, who had filed two affidavits in the Ishrat Jahan encounter case, has alleged that he was tortured to implicate senior IB officials in the case to project the encounter killing of Ishrat and other three LeT terrorists in Ahmadabad in 2004 as fake.

Mani said that “In 2013, I was hauled up and harassed. I drafted a note and sent it to my superiors. Immediate result was that many fellows chased me”. He was even put cigarette butts on his thighs by the then CBI officer Satish Verma.

The Congress even tried giving the tag of martyr to the four terrorists Ishrat Jahan, Javed Shaikh alias Pranesh Pillai, Zeeshan Johar and Amjad Ali Rana.

What is Ishrat Jahan case?

She was an Indian who worked for the terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and was on a mission to kill the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, along with three more terrorists. But the intelligence agencies got the information about LeT’s plan and encountered them.

What happened in Sohrabuddin encounter case?

The Sohrabuddin Sheikh encounter case is an ongoing criminal case in the Gujarat state of India, after the death of Sohrabuddin Anwar Hussain Sheikh on November 26, 2005, while he was in police custody. He was associated with the banned global terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and the Pakistani intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence , and was alleged to have planned to create communal chaos in the state by assassinating “an important political leader

The Special Court has dropped Amit Shah from the Sohrabuddin Case owing that there was no legal evidence against him in the Sohrabuddin Shaikh fake encounter case of 2005 and discharged him as an accused. “There is substance in the contention of Shah’s counsel S V Raju that the charges against him were politically framed” said special judge M B Gosavi

What Congress wanted?

Congress used all its force to corner BJP, especially Amit Shah so that he will be out of Gujarat.  The former Gujarat Minister of State for Home, Amit Shah, was an accused in the Sohrabuddin encounter case was banned from entering into Gujarat in October 2010. It was a major victory for congress because Amit Shah was Modi’s “Chanakya”. He was formulating every election strategy.

How Congress move back-fired?

Congress thought that it will gradually end BJP’s prominence in Gujarat and Amit Shah’s political career also would come to an end as Shah wasn’t allowed to enter Gujarat. But dirty intensions of a corrupt political party didn’t succeed. Congress thought it gave a big blow to BJP but Amit Shah turned it into an opportunity. He smartly landed in Uttar Pradesh and gave a major success to BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. The state contributes 80 seats to the lower house of the Indian Parliament so to come to power in centre, a political party must show their prominence in UP. Amit Shah formulated a strategy for 2014 Lok Sabha elections and rest is history. BJP won 71 seats and Congress managed to grab just 2 seats. Since then, the political influence of Congress in India started to deteriorate.

If Congress didn’t have had fallen behind Amit Shah to drag him out of Gujarat, then this worst embarrassment wouldn’t have been happened for the Congress. Amit Shah is an example to all the budding entrepreneurs, how to turn an adverse condition into an opportunity and finally win over it.
