How’s The Josh! After PM Modi, current and former Defence Ministers asking “How’s the josh” will give you goosebumps

“How’s the Josh” slogan from the movie “URI: The Surgical Strike” is viral not just in India but throughout the world. Recently at the inaugural event of the National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai, PM Modi had asked “How’s the josh?”.

On the stage, PM Modi had also said “The country is changing and finding its own solutions. If there are a million problems, there are also a billion solutions”.

Now the same slogan has been reiterated by the Defense Minister of India Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman. On 27th January, a special screening of “URI” was arranged and it was not just attended by the civilians but even by the war veterans and the first female Defence Minister of India.

After entering the cinema hall, Mrs. Sitharaman tweeted “Live from Central Spirit Mall, Bellandur, Bengaluru, to watch Uri (finally) with veterans”.

What gave Indians goosebumps was the way she chanted the viral slogan “How’s the Josh”. Yes, in the theater she asked “How’s the josh?”, and the audience screamed “High Sir”.

Kiran Kumar S who was present at the cinema hall said “People loved Nirmala Sitharaman giving them a surprise by watching the Uri with veterans in theater like a common citizen. 100s clicking selfies. Very distinguished Army, Air Force and Navy veterans felt happy that India’s Defence Minister took time to sit with them”.

He added “Very rarely you can expect Tiranga waves and Bharat Mata Ki Jai slogans in a movie theater. “Uri: The Surgical Strike” movie with veterans was exceptional. Nirmala Sitharaman making it more special for veterans and Bengaluru crowd.

We should not forget that India’s first ever surgical strike was carried out when Mr. Manohar Parrikar was India’s Defence Minister. Currently, he is battling with a deadly disease, like a warrior. But even he couldn’t himself stop from chanting “How’s the Josh” even though he had a tube in his nose.
