India has rightly answered back those terrorists who brutally took away the lives of 3 Policemen in Jammu and Kashmir. While two were killed earlier, the rest three terrorists from the Lashkar-e-Taiba, who recently infiltrated into Jammu and Kashmir, were gunned down by security forces within two days.
The terrorists were gunned down at “Sumblar Area” in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. Police said the five had crossed the Line of Control (LoC) recently and were on their way to other parts of the Valley.
As per reports, huge quantity of arms, ammunition and incriminating material was recovered from the site of encounter.

The security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in forests of Sumblar Area following information about the presence of terrorists. As per statements by Police Official, the search operation turned into an encounter after militants opened fire on the security forces positions.
Troops of counter insurgency Rashtriya Rifles, Special Operations Group (SOG) of state police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) had started a cordon and search operation in Sumlar village of Bandipora after specific information about the presence of militants.
“As the cordon was tightened, hiding militants fired triggering an encounter”, police had said.
“Two bodies of the terrorists (militants) have been recovered with their weapons,” a police officer said. “Three terrorists (militants) were killed on Friday although we are yet to recover their bodies. But we can see the bodies.”
According to the officer, the five belonged to a Lashkar-e-Taiba group that had probably infiltrated recently into the Kashmir Valley. “The firing stopped on Thursday evening but there was fresh firing from surviving terrorists (militants) in the morning on Friday,” a police source said.
