In a major victory security forces neutralized Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist Naveed Jatt, who had murdered senior journalist Shujaat Bukhari

Our brave forces have always answered the enemies back in the same language they understand. They have always made sure that every life sacrificed by nation gets justice.

In such a major victory, security forces today have gunned down Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist Naveed Jatt, who had murdered senior journalist Shujaat Bukhari.

Shujaat Bukhari who was the Editor-in-Chief of English daily “Rising Kashmir”, was gunned down by three bike-borne individuals on June 14 when he came out of his office in Press Enclave and was boarding his car. Two of his security guards were also killed.

Later on it was revealed by the Jammu & Kashmir police that the plot to kill Bukhari was hatched in Pakistan and LeT carried out the crime. But today security forces have replied the terror organization back.

Terrorist Naveed Jatt, killer of Shujaat Bukhari who is also known by the name of Abu Hanzullah was killed along with one another terrorist by the security forces in Budgam district of Jammu & Kashmir.

Jatt was a Pakistani and had escaped from police custody from a Srinagar hospital on February 6 this year. In March, i.e. a month after he had escaped from the SMHS hospital, a video had surfaced showing Jatt with Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists in a forest area of south Kashmir. Armed with an automatic rifle, Jatt was seen in the video exchanging hugs with terrorists.

Earlier on Saturday also six Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militants, including Azad Ahmad Malik who was being investigated for murder of journalist Shujaat Bukhari, were killed in an encounter with Army and police in Bijbehara area of southern Kashmir on Friday.

The six militants those got killed were identified as Unais Shafi and Basit Ishtiyaq of HM, and Azad Ahmad Malik, Atif Najar, Firdous Ahmad and Shahid Bashir of LeT. All of them were residents of southern Kashmir. Firdous was district commander of LeT for Pulwama, and Unais district commander of HM for Anantnag. Malik who is considered to be a close aide of Pakistani militant Naveed Jatt was district commander of LeT for Anantnag.

This is the major success for the armed forces and nation and a big setback for the militant organizations. This all have become possible only due to our brave heroes and Prime Minister Modi Government which has given free hand to the armed forces to carry out the operations and to answer back the terrorists always keeping one thing in mind. “If they will move their bad eyes towards India, they will have to face the consequences”.
