India spoils Pakistan’s “Kashmir Dream”! UK distances itself from the event organised by Pakistan

In a big diplomatic win for India UK has snubbed Pakistan on the issue of Kashmir. Pakistan has organized an event based on Kashmir in the UK Parliament but UK Government distanced itself from the event. This all has become possible only due to the Modi Government diplomatic policy. Indian Government had clearly sent a demarche asking the UK government to not allow its soil for anti-India propaganda.

According to ANI, the UK categorically told India that the government had nothing to do with the event at the House of Commons. Earlier, India had strongly objected to the UK government for allowing Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi to use the UK Parliament as a stage for the conference on Kashmir. But, with India’s strong and successful diplomacy, the UK government denied his visit official status and did not allow any government official to meet Qureshi. According to authorities here, Pakistan officials even tried to arrange an accidental meeting for Qureshi with the senior Government officials but that too was not granted

Few days back UK has also granted permission to extradite the ‘King of Good Times’ Vijay Mallya to India. Last month, the Indian authorities successfully managed to extradite Dubai-based businessman Rajiv Saxena, co-accused in the AgustaWestland scam, from UAE to India. This diplomatic win came just after the extradition case of Christian Michel, British middlemen accused of handling and routing over 60 million euros for kickbacks in the deal for AgustaWestland helicopters.

The UK Government has not only stood with India at these moments but also stood for the rights of the Kashmiri Pandits and passed an Early Day Motion (EDM), in condolences to the families and friends of all those who were killed, raped and injured in the massacre. The UK Parliament condemned the Islamic militancy and cross-border attacks. The House of Commons further added, “Commends the resilience and courage shown by the members of Kashmiri Pandit community who survived this gruesome ethnic genocide and who did not resort to picking up guns but instead pursued education and aspiration”.

This shows the stature of Pakistan in the eyes of UK. If we are witnessing such a day today it is only due to the one man- Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken India to such great heights and today all the other nations respect India and fear to do anything that will cost them loosening their ties with India. All the other nations stand along with India. Those who always question Prime Minister Modi’s foreign visits this is the best answer to them. He doesn’t go for enjoying but for building India.
