After insisting to proudly call oneself a Hindu, CM Yogi now says to gift Bhagwad Gita to foreign guests and not Taj Mahal as memento

“When foreign guests visit India, present them with Bhagwad Gita, which preaches Indian values and culture instead of giving Taj Mahal as a memento” says UP CM Yogi Adityanath.

Yogi has given this suggestion in a programme which was held in Darbhanga, Bihar. He also said that usually we hand over Taj Mahal or any other Minars, though Taj Mahal is one among the Seven Wonders of the World, it doesn’t have any links with Indian culture. Instead, gift Bhagwad Gita or Ramayana, he adds.

“When PM Modi visits foreign nations or guests visit India, he gift them Gita or Ramayana” says Yogi. He also said that whenever Ramayan is gifted to any foreign President, it exhibits the history of Bihar.

Days ago, UP CM Yogi had also said that Indians shouldn’t hesitate about his/her Hindu identity. He also said that in Chicago, Swami Vivekananda said that he is a proud Hindu, even we should proudly say our religion to others. He added that Hinduism aims at ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ and Hinduism goes towards ocean of truth. He also said that history has been twisted but we still know the truth that Shivaji was great and not Aurangazeb.

Weeks ago, in Lucknow, Yogi advised the youngsters to not to follow the path of Akbar, Aurangzeb and Babar as they were invaders, instead, leaders like Maharana Pratap should be the idol. On the occasion of the 477th birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap, Yogi told the gathering that people should follow Maharana Pratap, Guru Gobind Singh and Chhatrapati Shivaji as they are the real role models.
