After many requests and pleas, finally the Jammu Kashmir government has finally taken the initiation to deport Rohingyas. After many years since the Rohingyas started to infiltrate Indian border, the intelligence agencies realised that the Rohingyas were turning out to be a serious National security threat.

Few months back, the Rohingyas in Kashmir also helped few terrorists escape during encounter operation. After the incident, the centre started to take serious action against Rohingyas which made them migrate to other states fearing deportation.

The Railway police had informed that Rohingyas from North India were found to be migrating towards Kerala which had caused serious security concerns. In Telangana, the Rohingyas had even succeeded to get fake IDs and Aadhar cards.

Now, the JK governor Satya Pal Malik is said to have started the process of collecting data of the illegal immigrants in Jammu Kashmir. The move came a month after Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh directed the JK State to start identifying illegal immigrants. The union minister is also said to have asked the state to collect biometric data of Rohingyas living in the state.

Once the state submits the information, the centre is likely to initiate talks with Myanmar government to deport Rohingyas.
