Kanakadurga, the lady who entered Sabarimala temple is now admitted in hospital after her mother-in-law attacked her for hurting Hindu sentiments

Remember the name Kanakadurga? She was the same woman who visited Sabarimala temple along with the help of Kerala police just to break the 800 year old tradition of Hindus. Kanakadurga along with Bindu Ammini gave a movement to rejoice to all the Hindu haters.

Later on the reports revealed that she was a staunch Marxist and has been associated with the activities of the pro-CPM Purogamana Kalasahithya Sangham (PuKaSa). Kanakadurga’s brother Bharath Bhushan went on to claim that there was a conspiracy of CPM and police behind the entry of women into Sabarimala.

He said “We believe that her visit in Sabarimala now, was due to some external pressure. We cannot blame the entire police force in state. But we suspect the role of Kottayam SP, Harishankar in the conspiracy to take her to Sabarimala”.

After the incident, the entire Sabarimala devotees were deeply hurt and had condemned her act. Now there is condemnation even from the house of Kanakadurga. Yes, this lady was attacked by her mother-in-law when she reached home after her Sabarimala visit.

Due to the attack of her mother-in-law, Kanakadurga had an injury on her head and currently she is undergoing further examination at a hospital in Perinthalmana in Malappuram district. Kanakaduga’s friend said that after returning from attacking Hindu culture, she wasn’t let inside the house by her mother-in-law. But Kanaka ignored her warning and tried to enter inside. Due to that, soon a fight broke out between the duo and the mother-in-law of Kanakadurga beat her with a wooden plank on her head. The police who were outside the house soon interrupted and took her to hospital.

The Perinthalmana police said “There was a verbal fight between Kanaka and her mother-in-law as the latter opposed Kanaka coming back to home. She has been admitted to hospital and the Sub Inspector is recording her statement”.

An official also said that “A case has been registered under Section 341 and Section 324 of the IPC. However, we have not taken her into custody as the mother-in-law is admitted in hospital after suffering a minor injury during the flight”.

Now why a case is not registered against Kanakadurga for assaulting her mother-in-law?
