Kapil Sharma questions PM Modi”™s “Achhe Din”. This Is How Twitter Reacts

Kapil Sharma tweets that he was asked for a Rs 5 lakh bribe from the BMC; Asks the Prime Minister if this is what 'achhe din' means.

Country’s most loved Comedian Kapil Sharma takes to Twitter on early Friday morning to express his anger on being asked to pay Rs 5 lakh to a BMC official to get his office done. He vented out his frustration by tagging the Prime Minister in his tweets and asked if this is what “Achhe Din” actually means.

Twitter was flooded with reactions from Twitter users, some in support while some criticising the Comedian. CM Devendra Fadnavis was quick to take cognizance of Kapil’s angry tweets and replied him assuring that strict action will be taken against the concerned officer.

Some journalists questioned Kapil for paying the 5 lakh bribe, and asked why he did not complain before paying the amount. Others took a jibe on him for tagging the Prime Minister.

And then some Tweeples know how to find humour in every situation.

Meanwhile the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) asked Kapil to reveal the name of the official who demanded a bribe. The BMC issued a statement that they will take serious note of the incident and will take strict action against the official.
