How disgusting can any leader get leading to Politics. Imagine the mindset of a minister who could not study and secure even a SSLC certificate or have the motivation to get some qualification later on in life. And we lend our kids’ future in the hands of such people?
All states should learn from Karnataka a “Misal” sarkar , how all 4th pass, 7th pass and 8th pass people “united” and form the government just to keep away a rank student (104 seats) from power !!
“What have I studied? I’m working as the chief minister”- this was Karnataka chief minister’s response as he dismissed questions on allocating the higher education portfolio to a minister who has studied till class 8.
When Smriti Irani was HRD Minister, All questioned her Post, Qualifications & Degree. They criticized & trolled her for 24*7. Now, Karnataka Education Minister is only class 8 Pass but all are mum. Wait, they’ll link him with dropouts like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg.

Reacting to the issue, CM HD Kumaraswamy said, “Some people will have wish to work in certain departments, but in every department there is opportunity to work efficiently. We have to work efficiently. Is there a better department than higher education and minor irrigation to work?”
“There will be demand for certain ministries, but certain decisions are made internally in the party,” he told reporters in Bengaluru, adding that such wishes of becoming a minister first and then wanting certain specific portfolios are common”!
Well, actually Kumaraswamy is right. What has he studied? If he was an educated man, he would not have had an alliance with the fake degree holders of the Grand old Party, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. The Karnataka CM had earlier drawn flak for saying he was at the “mercy” of Congress and not the people. Kumaraswamy later tried to dilute his statement saying that he never meant to show disrespect to the people of the state.
All the Constitution makers must hang their heads in shame for imposing such a rotten system on country, which allows almost illiterates to become Chief Minsters, Ministers, MP, MLA to ‘govern’ and decide fate of masses, that includes the educated and highly educated ones. I personally believe education minister must be a highly educated person. There are lots of decision makings to be made regarding education sector, which would be tough to handle for someone not been through in the system!
The Karnataka new Higher Education Minister himself has openly expressed his inability to handle HE portfolio and wanted a change. Not able to comprehend why Congress Party is keeping mum over such ridiculous action by Karnataka CM Kumarasamy.
