Political analysts see a slight inclination in Nitish Kumar’s stance in the recent months. During demonetisation he welcomed the Modi Govt. decision openly. He even congratulated the massive victory of BJP and said that the opposition ignored the massive support that public offered during demonetisation towards Modi Sarkar. So is Nitish slowly but steadily inclining towards Modi?
Chances are high because even though Nitish aimed at giving a good governance to the people of Bihar, it was completely spoiled by Lalu and his family. As expected, Lalu’s sons in the cabinet did no good to the state govt. Lalu himself indulged in cheap politics to defame Modi even though the public joined hands with Modi in every elections. Lalu didn’t distance himself from the criminal Shahabuddin. Nitish was a puppet in all these instances.
The oppositions are getting combined mainly for 2 purpose:
- 2017 Presidential Election.
- 2019 Lok Sabha Election.
The opposition is well aware that if their Presidential nominated candidate is selected then they can put some break to Modi in whatever ways possible as Mr. Pranab Mukherjee is neutral in his decisions. Secondly they are focused on 2019 elections. As in every state elections Modi is emerging victorious, it has created a huge headache to the opposition. Modi is gaining fame both in India and global platform. So the opposition are shamelessly getting united no matter what their party ethics say. But will Nitish be with UPA till then?
Why Nitish may abandon Lalu?
- Arnab Goswami made a sensational entry with exposing how Lalu was receiving orders from the criminal Shahabuddin. It was a huge embarrassment to Nitish Govt. Shahabuddin had several smartphones in his jail cell. He was constantly taking selfies and sharing via the Internet to the delight of his own gang.
- Recently a CA, Rajesh Kumar Agarwal was held by the Enforcement Directorate (ED)in Rs. 8000 crore laundering scam and it is said that he may have direct links with RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s daughter Misa Bharti.
- Lalu Prasad suffered a set backs Supreme Court revives quashed fodder scam trial against Lalu Prasad Yadav. The fodder scam relates to fraudulent withdrawal of around Rs 1,000 crore by Bihar’s animal husbandry department from various district during Lalu Prasad’s tenure as chief minister from 1990 to 1997.
Nitish Kumar even pulled off from the 2019 elections as Prime Ministerial candidate. He said he is happy to be in power in Bihar and will serve them well. Is he aware that Modi wave will continue even in 2019? Does he think joining hands with PM Modi is a better option? This week Nitish Kumar had skipped his meet with Sonia Gandhi but it surprised everyone when he met PM Modi the following day.
So don’t be shocked if Nitish Kumar joins NDA before the presidential elections.
