Mahatir Mohamad! World has not forgotten your ‘terrorism is the only way out’ rant! Introspect and stop lecturing India about peace and harmony!

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad while addressing the United Nations General Assembly on 28th September, tried to imply that India is an “invader and occupier” in Kashmir.

Mahatir Mohamad’s comment has met with lot of criticism.

During his speech Mahathir Mohamad said that “despite UN resolution, Kashmir has been invaded and occupied. There may be reasons for this action but it is still wrong”.

He then urged India to work with Pakistan and draw out a peaceful resolution for this dispute.

Mahatir Mohamad had recently displayed. A cordial relation with India. And it was expected that he would prove to be close ally when he wanted stringent action against Zakir Naik. But looks like his intentions are no so pure.

In 1999, in the edition of Dr. Mahathir’s World Analysis, published monthly by the Japanese Mainichi Shimbun newspaper, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad discussed Indonesia’s new Muslim-led government and addressed the international fear of, and pressure against, Muslims.

In this column, entitled “Muslim Choices in a Hegemonic World,” Mahathir justifies Muslim terrorism as a reasonable reaction to being targeted and vilified by Western governments and media.

In his article, Mahathir says Muslims have been unfairly singled out by Western media, which often refer to Muslim terrorists, but rarely to Christian or Buddhist terrorists.

In addition, Mahathir says that Muslims see themselves as “victims of worldwide terrorism,” and cites events in Palestine, Kashmir and Iraq as examples.

Mahathir adds that, “Terrorism offers them the only way that they can hit back at even the greatest military powers.” He concludes, “Muslims cannot be blamed if they think everyone is against them and as a result they harbor ill-feelings toward Westerners.”

How are we so easily turning a blind eye towards a fact that, who ever one may be, which ever highest position he may hold, when it comes to religion, they are driven by the orthodox thoughts.

This may be reason in the first place that Zakir Naik chose Malaysia to escape into.

Mahatir Mohamad visited Columbia University couple of days ago, and he managed to stir up the atmosphere their by his antisemitic remarks.

Earlier too he has made remarks which received profound backlash from the Jewish community.

The 93-year-old leader described Jews as “hook-nosed” last October, and blaming them for creating trouble in the Middle East. “They are hook-nosed,” he said in defense. “Many people called the Malays fat-nosed. We didn’t object; we didn’t go to war for that.”

In 2003, he said that “the Europeans killed six million Jews out of 12 million. But today the Jews rule this world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them.”

He has also said that the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust is exaggerated and that, in reality, four million were killed rather than six million.

He has also denied Israel’s connection to Jerusalem, claiming it is a Palestinian territory. In January, Mohamad announced that he would not allow any Israelis to enter Malaysia.

We may neglect these advancement but we should never forget is that, these leaders who preach India on Kashmir issue, are the one who are involved in territorial disputes with their neighbouring countries.

Be it Turkey or Malaysia they are refusing to back down and the problem remained unsolved. India’s stand is clear, we are not backing down because Pakistan is helping terrorists to infiltrate.

Many of our Prime Minister’s have tried their best to ease situation between India and Pakistan and the terrorist sympathizer neighbour has always back stabbed us.

This time decisive action will be in the game plan as we have PM Modi who politically and diplomatically has proved India’s mattle.
