The opposition and its agents spread a big lie about traders being upset with the PM Modi led Government on the move of demonetization and implementation of GST. The opposition termed it as “ Gabbar Singh Tax” imposed on the nation which have cause a great loss to traders all over the nation and made a loud hue and cry that it will cost PM Modi Government in the upcoming elections
But the traders have shut the mouth of all those anti-nationals. They had clearly stated that they will support PM Modi Government. The domestic traders’ body, The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has asked the 7 crore traders of the country to vote for BJP
Not only the confederation has asked the traders to vote for BJP but they will also start a ‘whisper campaign’ to their customers to do the same. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), apex body of business community representing 7 crore traders through more than 40,000 trade associations and federations across the country, after closely analysing the manifesto of parties and keeping in view the future of the country, has taken a decision to support BJP & NDA allies in the Lok Sabha election,” it said.
Earlier also after the Pulwama Attack the trade body stood with the nation at the time of the need. The trade organizations decided that they will completely stop buying any Chinese products and boycott them completely.
According to reports, The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) called for a Bharat Trade Bandh on Monday 18th February and also called for boycotting Chinese goods to pay homage and tribute to those martyred in the Pulwama attack. Commercial markets across the country including Delhi were closed and no business activity took place on February 18. The Indian traders body issued a statement which read, “In the wake of China supporting Pakistan, the CAIT has decided to launch a national campaign to boycott Chinese goods
CAIT had also earlier criticized Rahul Gandhi for his sweeping remarks on GST. The Congress president criticized GST for the multiple tax slabs but the CAIT is happy with it and willing to adopt the indirect tax reforms in a cohesive manner. “We have come across one of your statements made at a rally that traders are suffering from GST and if you come to power, you will abolish ‘Gabbar Singh Tax’ as called by you for GST. As a representative body of business community of the country, we highly object your statement which is highly deplorable and far from facts and is being seen as an attempt by you to score points on shoulders of traders,” said CAIT National Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal in a letter to the Congress president.
This clearly shows that the whole nation stands with PM Modi Government and no power can stop PM Modi Government from coming back to power again
