My way or the highway! Zee News Editor Sudhir Chaudhary reveals dark side of Congress party on how it attack journalists

On the very first day of the New Year Prime Minister Modi gave an interview to ANI editor Smita Prakash. But the Congress couldn’t digest the PM Modi’s rocking performance of Prime Minister that rattled them. So they started terming the interview as pre-planned.

The President of the oldest Political Party Rahul Gandhi stooped so low that he called ANI’s editor Smita Prakash as pliable journalist.

This act of Congress President is really shameful. For this he is slammed by media professionals, Editor’s Guild of India and many others

The Zee News Editor –in- Chief Sudhir Chaudhry slammed the Congress President by showing him his true face. He said this is not the first time Congress is doing such act It is the habit of the party to disgrace all those media professionals who doesn’t work according to their will.

“It’s no surprise that the Congress chief is targeting a journalist. Their approach has always been – my way or the highway. They target & tarnish those who aren’t pliant, he tweeted

He also shared his letter written to Congress President which he wrote in October last year urging him to refrain from doing such acts when attacks were made on ZeeNews by Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala and Navjot Singh Sidhu.

The matter is related to chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans during Congress rally. Zee News has reported that during Sidhu’s speech at Alwar in Rajasthan, the slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” were raised. But Congress attacked Zee News & Sudhir Chaudhry calling it fake and a doctored video of incident. Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu even went to extent of threatening Sudhir Chaudhry and Zee News and said “ Nani Yaad Dilvadunga inhe” which implies “I will see to it, I will make them pay heavily for it”

But the channel stood its ground and issued a Rs 1,000 crore defamation notice against him and also sent a letter to the Congress president, pointing out this behaviour, as well as imploring him to prevent it from happening again.

The letter, which was co-signed by Sudhir Chaudhary, read, “We are nobody’s mouthpiece and we refuse to be called so. We believe in democratic principles, which is why we are writing to you.”

But as the ZEE TV Editor noted, the response (to the letter) from Rahul Gandhi was ‘stony silence.’
Targeting nationalists, putting false cases on them, locking them in jail, torturing them mentally and physically is an age old habit of Congress. It is basically the favourite game of Congress to attack nationalist media, journalists and websites, to quote them as fake and to question their journalism. Anyone who will raise their voice or will speak against this dynasty Congress will try to suppress his voice.

But Congress should understand that time is not same always and Everybody in the nation is not their puppet.
