Couple of years ago, when the Indian security forces had neutralized the poster boy of the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, the then employee of NDTV had reported that Burhan Wani a son of the poor headmaster was killed. Holding up-to its reputation, the channel has done such kind of gimmick once again by saying that “terrorism is a career”.
Yesterday, the security forces had achieved a massive success when it killed the terrorist Mohammad Rafi Bhat who was from the terrorist organisation Hizbul Mujahideen. Along with Mohammad Rafi Bhat, the security force successful eliminated another top Hizbul commander who was once considered close to terrorist Burhan Wani.
The encounter had taken place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian on May 6th. Inspector General of Police in Kashmir SP Pani revealed that during the encounter the security forces had requested the terrorist to surrender but he didn’t pay any heed. “We brought his family from Ganderbal to persuade him to surrender, but the repeated attempts did not materialise,” said IGP (Kashmir) SP Pani said.
Here comes NDTV’s creativity, calls “terrorism” a career!
The English news channel NDTV published a news with the caption “Kashmir Professor’s Career As Hizbul Terrorist Lasted Just 36 Hours”.
The terrorist who was killed by the forces, Mohammad Rafi, was a Kashmir University assistant professor before joining a terrorist organisation. But NDTV tried to whitewash his act of embracing terrorism by calling it a career.

- Thank you, NDTV, for the profound gyaan that terrorism is, also, a career.

- Looks like NDTV regards terrorism as a legitimate ‘career’. So much grief in that line!

- Feel the tremendous pain in this tweet of Pakistan occupied NDTV. They are not happy that a terrorist is killed. They are sad that the career of a terrorist has come to an end.

What was even more hilarious on NDTV’s part was that at one end it said that the professor had joined the terrorist group 36 hours back before he was killed but in the same article, NDTV had said that “Mr Bhat was reportedly meeting Hizbul commander, Saddam Padder, when security forces launched the operation. The assistant professor had, however, reportedly joined the terrorist group a few years ago, police sources told NDTV”.
By calling terrorism a career, NDTV had done the act of misguiding the Indians once again. What kind of career it is where the prime task is to kill the Indians and wipe out the majority community of the nation? What kind of career it is that seeks pleasure in spilling the blood of the Indians?
Is this a marketing attempt of NDTV to drive more youths towards terrorism? This is not the first time that NDTV had done such kind of act. A former NDTV journalist had even revealed that NDTV had issued a circular and it had crystal clearly mentioned that if a soldier from Indian Army is martyred while performing his duty at the borders, he shouldn’t be called as a martyr. This is an attempt to please the people who hate the Indian Army?
An Indian even expressed doubt on whether NDTV is an Indian news channel by questioning “NDTV, are you really an Indian news channel? I doubt it. This channel must be banned immediately. Should inquiry their intentions”.
