Why PM Modi didn’t visit Palestine during his Israel trip? Benjamin Netanyahu reveals it accidentally

During PM Modi’s Israel visit, there were cries in India and few nations that PM Modi did a grave mistake by visiting Israel. Few even suggested that PM Modi should cut short his visit at attend Palestine immediately.

Indian government kept silence on questions regarding why PM Modi didn’t visit Palestine. But the Israeli Prime Minister accidentally revealed it during a meet with various foreign leaders. PM Benjamin was having a closed door meeting with the leaders of Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. During the discussion, the PM’s team forgot to turn of the mic attached to his body. So this revealed the answer on the question why PM Modi didn’t visit Palestine.

PM Benjamin was also very harsh on European Union for its attitude towards Israel. Later he mentioned of PM Modi’s visit to Israel and he revealed why PM Modi didn’t visit Palestine. He said that “Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he needs water for his people. Where will I get it? Ramallah? No.” This was mentioned in Israel-based newspaper Hareetz.

Ramallah is a Palestinian city in the West Bank, where several foreign dignitaries go as it is a tradition stop for them. Netanyahu also mentioned that even China doesn’t care about the Palestine. He further mentioned that they have a special relationship with China.

Later on during the discussion, PM Netanyahu said that “I think that if you can suggest that what comes out of this meeting is your ability perhaps to communicate to your ability in other parts of Europe: help Europe-twice. Don’t undermine that one Western country that defends European values and European interests and prevents”.

Later Mr Netanyahu said that the European Union is slowing its progress by distancing itself from Israel. “He said that Israel is a part of the European culture. Europe ends in Israel. East of Israel, there is no more Europe” he added.

Netanyahu also spoke of Israel’s relationship with Arab State and showed his displeasure with former President Barack Obama. He also added that the ties with USA are now stronger.

It was too late when the officials realised that the mic was on. Finally the mic was turned off. So accidentally what was a private discussion got transmitted to the headphones of the pressmen covering the summit in the Hungarian capital.
