For the first time, India is inching towards open defecation free. For years and years, those women who hid their pain behind and waited till night to use toilets are today rejoicing as they also have toilets in their homes. Those girl kids who stopped their education because they had no toilets in schools are today continuing their education without hesitation.
These changes were brought in just 4 years of Modi government. Those problems which were overlooked by every other governments as they felt it was not their worry were taken up by Narendra Modi. Now, Narendra Modi’s most ambitious plan of Ayushman Bharat is all set to create records of being the best and biggest health scheme ever. Just days after Ayushman Bharat was launched, it has made massive impact helping the poor get health benefit.
According to reports, a total of 23,287 patients have benefited with the scheme and medical insurance worth Rs 38.1 crore have been settled with both private and public hospitals under the Pradhan Mandtri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), popularly called Ayuhsmaan Bharat.
Up to 23,299 claims worth Rs 45 crore have been received by October 2, the report further said. According to official data, the average claims size per patient within the first ten days is Rs 19,357 reported Business Today.
The CEO of the Ayushman Bharat in his tweet mentioned that in just few days, around 1.7 crore beneficiary letters with family cards from the Prime Minister’s Office have been dispatched across the country. In the first six days of the launch, the government is said to have received, 13,000 claims worth Rs 25 crore. By early this week, 32,814 hospitals have applied for empanelment, the report said. Out of them, 13,865 have either already been empanelled or are in the process of empanelment. Business Today.
