In a sudden development, the Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa has sent out a message to all commanders to be war ready. The Air Chief marshal while addressing the IAF commanders’ conference held in New Delhi last week, gave a sudden shock to all his subordinates that they need to be prepared for a war.
In his speech the IAF chief is said to have told to maintain a state of combat readiness for a possible 10-day war with Pakistan and a possible 15-day conflict with China. According to a high level source accessed by Deccan Chronicle newspaper, “Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa has directed the IAF commanders to prepare for short duration but intense wars of 10 days in case of Pakistan and 15 days with China to maintain razor-sharp operational preparedness and enhanced combat effectiveness.”
The Directorate of Air Staff Inspection was asked to keep the aircraft combat-ready with fully stocked-up weapons, missiles and alert radar systems. He was also instructed to bring the operational unit alive with all necessary equipment.
However there is no confirmation given by any official nor has the government made any statement on the issue. As far as the reports are concerned their no credible source of information to completely believe the story.
