Followed by an amazing gesture, Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo shared an interesting detail about his family with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and told him that his grandson is also named after him. Born to Widodo’s eldest son Gibran Rakabuming, the grandson was named Jan Ethes Srinarendra, who was born in the year 2016.

Indonesian President Jokowi has named his new-born grandson “Jan Ethes SriNarendra”. Indonesia is Muslim country and this is the result of increasing reputation of Bharat under PM.

The candid exchange happened during PM Modi’s first-ever visit to Indonesia. The PM arrived in the Southeast Asian nation last night and was accorded a red carpet welcome upon his arrival at the Merdeka Palace, one of the presidential palaces in Indonesia, this morning.

At the banquet hosted by the Indonesian President, PM Modi was welcomed with a performance by the renowned Indonesian singer Fryda Lucyana who is not only known for her voice but also for her social and charity work. The singer performed a rendition of the famous song ‘Sabarmati Ke Sant Tune Kar Diya Kamal’ from 1954 movie “Jagriti”.

We Indians are indeed proud of our PM after hearing this news from Indonesia. The World’s No. 1 Islamic country have such cordial relations with India is something to have our shoulders broadened upon. A baby from the country being named after our beloved PM, we respect him for getting his utmost honor to our country.

He began his first official engagement in the Indonesian capital by laying a wreath at the Kalibata National Heroes Cemetery and was then accorded a ceremonial welcome with a guard of honour at the Istana Merdeka-one of the six presidential palaces of Indonesia. The aim of the visit is to enhance India’s relations and engagements with all the three countries, which forms Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

Modi in Indonesia, largest Muslim population nation but mainly Hindu in its veins. Airlines called Garuda Airways. Currency has ‘Ganesha’ & Sanskrit name ‘Rupiah’, names of places & people have Hindu connotations. Stories from Mahabharat can be traced in Indonesia to 1st century.

Popularly known as an Islamic country and having the traits of Hinduism in its veins is simply amazing. Indians now must respect the country as much as our PM does. Indonesia is carrying forward Hinduism as much as we Indians do. This no doubt will help us grow cordial relations with the country, and build up India among the other foreign countries.
