Day by day, the “Rafale Deal is a scam claim” is getting punctured and this time the act of slamming the Congress party (indirectly) is done by the Indian Air Chief BS Dhanoa who said that the Rafale deal is a ‘good package’ and a game-changer.
IAF chief made this statement while speaking to the media in New Delhi ahead of the IAF’s 86th founding day. He said “It’s a very good aircraft and when it comes into the subcontinent, it will be a game changer because it has significant capabilities—better than what our regional adversaries have got. It also takes care of the new aircraft that they are likely to induct in the near future”.
“We have a very good package along with the aircraft. We have a lot of advantages in the Rafale deal” he added. So the warriors who ride the Rafale aircraft have no issues with the deal but Rahul Gandhi who doesn’t even have an iota of information on Rafale aircraft is having problems. Hilarious.
Revealing that HAL is slightly delaying the delivery of rest of the aircraft, IAF chief said “We are three years behind in Sukhoi 30, 25 are yet to be delivered. In Jaguar, we are six years behind, five years behind in LCA (light combat aircraft-Tejas). In Mirage 2000 upgrade, we are two years behind, and in HTT (Hindustan Turbo Trainer aircraft) 40 we are five years behind”.
By this one thing is clear that the Rafale deal is indeed good for the nation and not for the Congress party. That’s why Rahul Gandhi is somehow trying to halt the Rafale deal. Deputy Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Raghunath Nambiar had also said that “I can tell you that the Rafale that we have gone for is substantially lower than the price that was on the table in 2008”.
