Finally after so many years, Ayodhya, the birth place of Lord Shri Ram is witnessing “Ram Rajya” and it has become possible only due to the efforts of one man Yogi Adityanath, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh.
CM Yogi Adityanath, after occupying the office made sure that the birth place of Ram regain its lost glory and should move forward on the path of “Ram Rajya”. For turning his vision into reality he is continually taking the steps.
This year, Uttar Pradesh Government led by Yogi Adityanath has decided to celebrate Diwali,the festival which marks the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile with full pump and show.
The Yogi Government has planned to celebrate Diwali for three days from 3 November to 5 November in Ayodhya. This year celebrations would be on much larger scale than even the previous year.
Last year Yogi Government has sanctioned Rs 133 crore for Ayodhya in order to “recreate the treta yug Diwali” and to promote the city as a tourist destination. 1.7 million earthern oil lamps (equal to population of Ayodhya) were enlightened on the stairs of the Saryu ghats at Ram ki Paidi on the Diwali eve. Actors dressed as Lord Ram, Goddess Sita and Lord Lakshman came down on a helicopter.The event was managed by the state tourism department in association with the Avadh University (Faizabad).
This year Yogi Government will break its own record. The celebration would be grander. A professional agency and consultant have been roped in for the preparation of event.CM Yogi Adityanath along with Governor Ram Naik and his cabinet will be the part of celebrations
Yogi Adityanath is himself witnessing all the preparations so that there will be no loopholes. On saturday agency had made a presentation to CM Yogi Adityanath of the three day celebrations in presence of chief secretary Anoop Pandey and minister and officials of state culture department.
The celebration would be larger not only in number of days but also the number of events will also be increased. Ram Lilas by international troupes, bhajans and many other activities will be included. Last year only the banks of Saryu river were enlightened with earthern diyas. This year whole Ayodhya will be shining with the beauty of these Diyas.
Not only are the celebrations at Diwali, but Yogi Government looking for overall development in Ayodhya. The state government has already started several developmental projects in Ayodhya which include a heritage walk, museum on Lord Ram’s life and times and a Ramayana circuit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off the bus service from Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama to Janakpuri the birth place of Goddess Sita, connecting India and Nepal together along with Lord Rama and Sita. CM Yogi Adityanath will also lay the foundation for the 108-meter statue of Lord Ram to be built in Ayodhya on ‘Deepotsav’ organised on the eve of the Diwali.
